Ingredients:

8 ounces (225g) fettuccine pasta
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
1 cup (100g) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Directions:

Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Season the thinly sliced chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breast slices to the skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
Reduce the heat to medium-low and pour the heavy cream into the skillet. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and nutmeg, if using. Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened, about 3-4 minutes.
Return the cooked chicken breast slices to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the skillet as well.
Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated in the sauce and heated through.
Remove the skillet from the heat and garnish the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo with chopped fresh parsley.
Serve hot and enjoy!
