For the Cookie Dough:
- 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- ½ cup (100g) brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 ½ cups (315g) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 cups (4 cups) Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 ½ cups (270g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat & Prep
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Make the Cookie Dough
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 2 minutes).
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until a soft dough forms.
3. Fold in the Add-Ins
- Gently fold in Rice Krispies cereal and chocolate chips, mixing until evenly distributed.
4. Scoop & Bake
- Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing cookies 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown on the edges but still soft in the center.
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

✔ Use room temperature butter – Helps create the perfect chewy texture.
✔ Don’t overmix the dough – Mix just until combined to keep cookies soft.
