Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.

  • In a saucepan, combine crushed pineapple (with juice), granulated sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla. Stir and heat over medium until slightly thickened.

  • Pour the pineapple mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.

  • In a mixing bowl, stir together flour, brown sugar, oats, cinnamon, and melted butter. Add nuts or coconut if using.
