For the Topping (Optional):
- ¼ cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
- 2 tablespoons chocolate chips (melted, for drizzling)
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt (for a sweet-salty contrast)
Instructions
1. Preheat & Prep
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Assemble the Nutella Bombs
- Roll out the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles (or flatten biscuit dough).
- Place 1 teaspoon of Nutella in the center of each dough piece.
- Fold the edges over the Nutella and pinch to seal completely.
- Roll into a smooth ball and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
3. Bake Until Golden
- Brush each Nutella Bomb with melted butter.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
4. Garnish & Serve
- Let the bombs cool slightly before serving.
- Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with melted chocolate for extra indulgence.
- Sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt for a sweet-salty flavor boost.
Notes
✔ Seal the edges well – This prevents Nutella from leaking during baking.
✔ Use a piping bag for Nutella – Makes filling easier and less messy.
✔ Serve warm – The gooey Nutella center is best enjoyed fresh from the oven.
