  • Author: Elisa
  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

These Keto Philly Cheesesteak Roll Ups are the ultimate low-carb comfort food. Made with tender beef, sautéed onions and peppers, and gooey cheese, they deliver all the classic Philly cheesesteak flavors in a keto-friendly format. Quick to make, high in protein, and incredibly satisfying—perfect for busy nights or meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale

1 pound thinly sliced roast beef or flank steak
1 tablespoon olive oil or avocado oil
1 small onion, thinly sliced
1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
8 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese
Optional: mushrooms, banana peppers, or jalapeños for extra flavor

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onion and bell pepper for 5–7 minutes until soft. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add optional veggies if using.

  • Lay out slices of roast beef. If thin or small, overlap slightly.

  • Spoon vegetable mixture onto one end of each beef slice and top with a slice of cheese.

  • Roll tightly and place seam-side down on the baking sheet. Secure with a toothpick if needed.

  • Bake for 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and beef edges are browned. Broil for 2–3 minutes if desired.

  • Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Use thinly sliced deli roast beef or pound flank steak thin.

Don’t overfill to prevent breakage. Sauté vegetables until caramelized for deeper flavor.

For dairy-free, use meltable vegan cheese.

Pairs well with keto salads, dips, or roasted vegetables.

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days.
