Ingredients
For the Burger Patties:
2 lbs (900g) ground chuck (80/20)
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
For the Crack Sauce:
½ cup (120g) mayonnaise
2 tbsp ranch dressing
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp Dijon mustard
¼ tsp black pepper
½ tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp lemon juice (optional)
For the Toppings:
8 slices bacon, cooked crispy
1½ cups (170g) shredded cheddar cheese
4–6 brioche burger buns, toasted
Optional: lettuce, tomato, pickles
Instructions
Make the Crack Sauce: In a bowl, mix mayo, ranch, garlic, mustard, paprika, pepper, and lemon juice. Chill until ready to use.
Prepare the Patties: In a large bowl, gently mix ground chuck with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, ranch mix, and Worcestershire. Do not overmix.
Form Patties: Divide into 4–6 equal portions and form into ¾-inch thick patties. Press a small indentation in the center of each.
Grill Burgers: Preheat grill to medium-high. Grill patties for 4–5 minutes per side until they reach 160°F (71°C). Top with cheddar in the last minute, cover to melt.
Toast Buns: While burgers cook, lightly toast brioche buns on grill or skillet.
Assemble Burgers: Spread crack sauce on both bun halves. Add patty, bacon, and optional toppings. Serve hot.
Notes
Use 80/20 ground chuck for juicy, flavorful patties.
Avoid pressing burgers while grilling to retain moisture.
For variation, try pepper jack cheese or caramelized onions.
Form patties and chill ahead of time for easier handling.
Pair with fries, coleslaw, or corn for a complete BBQ spread.
